臺灣 music festival 主辦單位倒是比其他華人地區的 festival organizer 來得爽快. 在過去短短的幾個月,臺灣樂迷已經有機會目睹幾個有份量的音樂 festival (例如: 海洋音樂祭,草地音樂祭,野台開唱,因為獨立所以自由Rose Tour, etc.). 現在再來一個"啾虎祭" (Tiger Chewing Fest). 相比之下,香港的 Rockit 和中國大陸的 Midi 顯得尤其珍貴.

最近幾年,不斷聽到香港政府官員以經濟理由向民眾施加壓力. 每次示威遊行,責備示威人士影響香港的信用評級,影響香港的國際聲譽. 試問如果不使用這種方法,那又如何揭穿社會上的不公義? 難道要人們因金錢考慮而對社會不平忍氣吞聲? 再加大多數示威者向來也是以和平的方法表達意見.

回顧過去一年,不算是什麼豐收,又說不上是什麼干旱. 見到了許多老牌歌手/樂隊 (如 Echo & the Bunnymen, Teenage Fanclub, The Tears, etc.) 重出江湖浮沉樂海. 又看見了後起之士 (如 Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Editors, etc.) 一出場升價十倍. 也看到了穩重形樂團 (如 Doves, Super Furry Animals, Sigur Ros, etc.) 繼續為我們誕下一籃子的驚喜.
